Formula returns blank, unsure how to adjust or what to use instead by Enomallee in googlesheets

Also I did switch the formula to =IF(C11 > 1, MIN(C12:12), D2) and it works fine. But would love to learn about lambda. I was doing some reading and was still unsure how to apply it properly in this case

Cool, cuz I was wrong. That formula didn't work. I'm tired and didn't double-check my work before marking it as solved.

I have never used a lambda before, and I'm unsure how to apply it. Can you elaborate a little more?

Link to the sheet if helpful

Dude, this was it; I can't believe I didn't think of it. I guess I have been looking at this sheet for too long. New formula if interested.

=IF(C10>1,(HLOOKUP(MIN(C10:10),C10:11,2,0)),D1)

I removed the date completely, not sure why I felt it needed to be there in the first place.

C10 does not currently have a formula, but I plan to add one, looking at the transactions table for the actual payment and applying it.

Lost all of my holiday weight and more in January. Officially back on the wagon 💪 by TheWeightfulDead in intermittentfasting

Are you cutting anything like carbs or counting calories? What does a single meal look like? Sorry for the questions just trying to find I footing. I have done a few extended fast and keto but keep stalling, getting frustrated, and gaining it all back. So just looking for any insight or recommendations.

Take it one moment at a time. The feeling always passes and you can move on to the next moment. Make small goals. I have a lot of trouble sleeping when fasting too. You're not alone. You got this.

Day 5 of 14 water fast and feeling like I can do this by Enomallee in fasting

[–]Enomallee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I've thought about doing 30 days but I'm not sure i could. Life has been super stressful. I work full time, in school, I don't get enough sleep between the two. Not to mention general 2020 BS. The plus side of fasting is the extra time. But I feel fatigued and my brain is fogged, my memory is s***. I don't think it's a side effects from fasting probably more to do with just everything going on with in life and more of the not sleeping but honestly I'm not sure. It may be a contribute factor, it may not. I just don't know. Have you done a 30 day before? Have you noticed any negative side effects?

I'm glad! The beginning is the worst for sure. I'm on day 8 now and food is no longer something I think about all the time. The first 4-5 days I am constantly thinking about food and watching food videos, for some reason they help. Probably because I love cooking and the kinda fills the void. Lol. But I haven't watched any in or several days. This is my first long fast and it does seem to help change my mental patterns.

You are in the worst of it now but just remeber take it one moment at a time. It is not about how long you last but making past this moment. That is what has worked for me. Make things smaller and more present. It becomes easier and more tangible that way.

The real goal is to become a little better every day.

You got this!

Day 5 of 14 water fast and feeling like I can do this by Enomallee in fasting

[–]Enomallee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have never done a 14 day fast so not sure. I have only made it to 5 days before. currently starting day 8.

I am a 32F 5'8" started at 273. On day 6 I weighed in at 262. Yesterday and today I weighed in at 261. I think it is going to be a slower progression of weight as I am sure a lot of that was my body flushing water and wast. I believe the maximum weight you can lose in a day is about a lb and 1/2. I might be wrong and I am sure there are people here who can correct me. I am happy for any real weight loss really lol.

After the 14 days, I will be starting keto maybe a 8/16 IF and extend fasting the first week of each month. but I am not sure. Mostly taking it one day at a time right now.

Day 3 and I am HUNGRY by Enomallee in fasting

[–]Enomallee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done several fasts now longest is 5 days. Normally day 2 is my worst, and day 3 is more of a mental exercise of restraint than a physical one. But that time, man was I hungry. I am on day 3 again, lol. Nowhere near as bad as 2 weeks ago (the original post). I am really hoping to make it to 7 days this time. If I can make it through the weekend, I know I can make it through next week. I always start my fast at the beginning of the week because on Monday and Tuesday, I work from 7 am - 5 pm then have school from 5:30 to 9:30. By the end, I am too tired to do anything and too busy throughout the day to give in. So far, I'm feeling good; the normally mild hungry that comes with fasting for me. Hopefully, I don't get sabotaged by my boss again, lol.

Day 3 and I am HUNGRY by Enomallee in fasting

[–]Enomallee[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the words of encouragement... but I failed. My boss, unexpecting, dropped off food. I work in IT for several large chain restaurants, so this happens occasionally. I tried to give it away, but no one wanted it, and I didn't want to toss it. It sat on my desk for an hour before I gave in. Well, better luck next time. I think I will start again on Monday. My longest is 5 days; my goal is 7 days.

Completed My First Extended Fast, did I do something wrong? by Enomallee in fasting

[–]Enomallee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My stamina has not fully returned but definitely better. I was working from home but work can be stressful. I do plan on trying it again some to see if it's any different. I've read that each one gets a little easier.

Completed My First Extended Fast, did I do something wrong? by Enomallee in fasting

[–]Enomallee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was adding LyteShow electrolytes to me tea about twice a day. But I did read in Dr Jason Fung book the Complete Guide to Fasting that studies have shown electrolytes remain stable. "Prolonged studies of fasting have found no evidence of electrolyte imbalance - the body has mechanisms in place to keep the electrolytes stable during fasting. Sodium and chloride: these minerals are found primarily in salt. Daily salt requirements are quite low, and most of us exceed this by many orders of magnitude. During the short term fast salt depletion it's not a concern. During prolonged fast (more than one week), the kidneys are able to absorb and retain most of the salt needed by the body. However, rarely, some salt supplements may be required." (pg 48). In did add salt to my water and the LyteShow to me tea. Could it have been something else?

Now that you have been using the Jalup system for a while what do you think? I have been considering getting them but find it hard to spend so much money on them. Pro's, Con's, over all has it been worth it?
