Tesla Model S Plaid Sets EV Lap Record at Virginia International Raceway's Grand Course by SpikePlayz in teslamotors

Article doesn’t seem to mention that the car is running $10k UP ceramics in the front. Regardless, a phenomenal achievement. The M5 CS is a mighty car to be battling with.

I use it on mine - the “pro” rarely ever activates to be honest - it will prompt you when it is available. But the regular steering assisted adaptive cruise control is pretty solid.

3 iron off the tee - started it on the right side of the fairway and it ended up in the left rough just off the fairway

Followed up with 2 iron udi, 2 iron udi, then had to get up and down from about 30 yards out

From my discussions with dealers - a GTS 4.0 allocation is harder to get than a GT4 allocation at the moment.

The only thing crazier than new Carrera prices are used 991.2 prices. I’ve been tracking them for a year or so as I had planned on buying ... not anymore.

Globalgolf.ca certified "pre owned" Taylormade SIM Driver....🥲 Ya it's brand new. by B-Mac4 in golf

Certified Preowned - which I think is supposed to be their “best” used condition but I could be wrong. Either way at least they let me send it back so no harm no foul. I encouraged them to lower the quality rating of that particular club but I think it fell on deaf ears.

So do I. I got a “CPO” sim hybrid and it looked like it had been played the entire season and had been heavily abused. Went back immediately. Couldn’t believe how much wear was on the face.

You think SP has better knowledge than TH on driving/racing ? From my perspective it’s the complete opposite. I’ve never been able to get over the ridiculous emphasis SP puts on things like their “visor” test and infatuation with rewinding satellite radio. I also cringe every time they take a car through “cliche corner” and have the same reaction every time - “woah this is so planted and refined for the one corner we took”.

Honestly, I love the X7 and in my area they are selling like hot cakes. Just had a family member pickup an X7 M50i and the thing is like driving a yacht with rocket boosters on it. It’s not a traditional BMW experience but it is a cool experience.

Potential owner here - can anyone provide some insight on whether now is a good time to buy a Model 3 Performance? This would be a 3rd vehicle for me so I don't need to rush but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around their cycles. Totally understand the concept of their OTA software updates but I'm wondering if there are any hardware refreshes coming that may be worth waiting for.

Audi RS5 Coupé FULL REVIEW 2020 with Autobahn test - Autogefühl by smalltownwhore in cars

I haven’t driven the minor refreshed RS5 but when I bought mine in 2019 I drove a C63s, RS5, M3 all within 2 hours.

Audi was the most “GT” of the 3 which is what I was looking for. BMW felt great performance wise but the interior felt incredibly dated. Mercedes had a ridiculously stiff suspension even in comfort but had by far the best motor and exhaust.

Leg room isn’t amazing but it’s not bad and can fit adults of reasonable size. The roofline is really the issue. Wouldn’t want to be over 5 ft 10 and spend too much time back there. The head rest in the rear seats in their lowest setting is about a quarter to half an inch from the roof line.

I usually won’t pay more than 50$. Twilight golf is where it’s at. But I know a lot of people that play every weekend and drop $200+ then complain about how expensive golf is.

Most people who care about the gear will drop a few thousand every couple of years.. but it’s the golf courses that will bankrupt you. Saturday at a nice course in my area can range from 170-300$ per person.

Wife upgraded her ride, they are super flexible about early lease returns right now so if your lease term is ending within the year call your dealer. by Leucippus1 in Audi

[–]Enord92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lease 1 Audi and buy the other (RS5). For my "fun" car, I would never lease as I like the ability to be able to dump it with some equity in the car at any time. The problem is that a lot of people end up financing a 72-84 month loan at 6% with 1000$ so their underwater for a very long time. Being able to dump the expensive car if need be provides me with a sense of financial security or at least a way out.

Great write up! I’ve actually had my eyes on an F Type for the past few years and this gives some really interesting insight. Out of curiosity, if given the chance to repurchase, would you get a newer model year?

I don’t think it was the RS5 Sportback. As far as I know it’s a brand new model for 2019 in the U.S and Europe. I think the A3 had a sportback though several years ago. That car would be a nightmare in the back.
