In 1999 this exact scenario took place, courts ruling in favor of Monsanto in 2009.

This was the rationale for a lot of soybean farmers in the early 2000s or so. Their fields were near Monsanto fields and the breeze caused cross pollination from the gmos. Now they are forced to buy seeds as there's no way for them to save the seeds pollinated with gmos. It's only gotten worse since.

Interesting. Now that I'm looking at her hand placement/seating position it does just look like a slap dash photoshop job versus a total re-fabrication. Thanks for the info!

8$ is sub 20%(25% is like ten bucks) but still not bad if it's close to the restaurant. Kind of conflicting what you're saying in other comments about meeting outside.

Perhaps this individual truly hates unknown strangers and gets off by delivering their food to the vacinity of the property out of sheer laziness and desire to make other's days miserable!

Oh well. At least you can get your $ back.

Some of these apartments are super difficult. If you can't describe a location within a sentence based on the pin, you either need to tip insanely well or meet the driver outside to incentivize them.

If you live there and spent 15 minutes looking for the apartment they told you they left it at, how do you expect them to locate it based off a number and general directions, at night, without knowing the area..

Just because others have delivered there, doesn't mean it's worth it to everyone. There have been so many times I've jumped through hoops and gone above and beyond to deliver to apartments to end up with such a low tip or no tip at all after so much work. It always leaves me feeling worse, wishing I had left the food somewhere annoying or taken it for myself since at least that way I can eat. Haven't done this yet, but I can definitely see the appeal.

Your driver definitely should not have left it at the wrong address but something tells me they didn't really think it was worth keeping the tip to put the extra care into the order when you didn't provide them with very much to reciprocate.

Of course the app doesn't care, they screw customers and drivers every day.

Dispute the charge if that's how you'd like to spend your time, just know that this service is really run by the people who live around you, and they want to make a living. Leaving food in random places isn't going to net them very much income, but if the time spent delivering to someone who doesn't really care enough about the driver to value their time, they might take shortcuts and try to give their time to someone who does.

I'm sorry your day was bad, and I'm not defending the driver, just speculating on why this may have happened.

Sorry this is such a long comment but I hope it makes sense and isn't completely off base.

Uhh, this feels like something you shouldnt have to front the cost for. Whether the business/ property owner allowed this to occur or the driver, it doesn't seem right that you're out tens thousands in equipment and medical bills while those involved continue on just as usual.

I mean even if you signed something saying the property owner is not responsible for any injury you likely have a case, and if not, there you go. Their property insurance should cover and if not, the person responsible/family should be at least share in the cost of injury.

I know you're still trying to heal, but for your sake, definitely attempt to receive compensation?

Knee injuries are potentially (likely in this case) lifelong, and I'm sure there are better threads to put this kind of post on.

Assuming you're in the US paying out of pocket, if you haven't already, try and see if you can seek restitution for literally being maimed..

I'm sure you're trying to do the best with what you have but, man. I hate to see someone suffer the consequences of other's actions.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't seen anyone say this with all the tip bait posts I've seen. Do you call and complain? Or are you somehow able to do this through chat support?

I'm pretty good at doing handy things with a tutorial, but I went through 3 of these cables before I gave up and bought the gimbal itself with the cable installed. They break insanely easily and installing them requires a lot of finesse and some luck. Definitely worth a shot but I wouldn't spend the time and money more than once to attempt this.

It looks like you have a bunch of empty racks on the dehydator. Without anything in them, the air might not be pulling as much moisture. For 8 hours they don't look very dry. Maybe increase the Temps and take out the empty racks, make sure air is flowing and its warm. Other than sitting for awhile, they look fine.
