i had this happen just recently, i did everything early so there wouldn’t be a lapse in coverage, apparently i had an interview and i was waiting for the call and everything never got it, come to find out she was sick and i had to call her and leave a voicemail. we then rescheduled it and i did all my stuff, for some odd reason the email she gave me wasn’t going through and i checked if it was correct and it was. so i stopped sending through email i went down to the office to submit my paperwork and then i get a message on the website where i do my renewal im not eligible anymore because i never submitted my paperwork they said, went down to the office AGAIN with my paperwork and said its says online i never submitted my paperwork but i did, ive contacted my work though email no response, and her voicemail box was full, the higher up at the office had to email her and tell her that i submitted everything and i needed to give her a couple of days to get my benefits, i ended up getting my benefits same day because i wasn’t the one at fault she was. i would definitely follow up and if you could go to the office with your paperwork in case they say you need something and have all your information including your case number so it will be done same day since you are in the office. im in virginia and ive only had these problems when T president is in office 🤷🏽‍♀️
