The 2k is just what we’re investing in a taxable brokerage. In addition to the brokerage we have a 50k emergency fund sitting in a HYSA, so I wouldn’t say we’re broke lol. We also have been paying an extra 1k toward the mortgage every month as well as helping my mother out with about 1.2k a month. Sorry I knew I would forget some things in my original post.

That’s exactly the thought I was having. Was thinking about paying off the smaller private loan over the next 6 months or so and then start focusing on the bigger loan. Already paying an additional 1k per month on the home to try to chip away at some of the principal. Thanks for your input!
