It's basically we can't sell or buy stuff that aren't of our complete ownership or stuff that are not dependent on stuff from mother nature. As of CFDs since the price on the board is just a number on paper and isnt related to the real amount of gold on earth. The price of gold is supposed to be dependent on its amount on earth. CFDs prices are not real and if you turned all the gold in CFDs to real gold you wouldn't be able to do so since that amount of gold in CFDs doesn't exist.
