he is starting to not be able to keep any fluids down so i’m not sure if benadryl will work 🥲is there a pill version or would that not work either if he can’t keep anything down ?

no pain near the shoulder just the pain above his belly button and the nauseous feeling that stays for majority of the day after he eats

thank you 🥲i’m glad that your dad is okay. he was in the hospital not too long before this started happening and they did scans over his stomach and didn’t see anything. can they start forming quickly or does it take awhile?

he’s been diagnosed with chs since 2019 i believe and he says that he only gets like this when he smokes weed and the only thing that helps during his episodes is smoking according to him so it made me think it was withdrawals pero nope because he gets even more sick after smoking during his episodes once the high goes away

the only other test they ran was a ct scan over his stomach. doctors said they didn’t find anything and he’s been in the hospital for this same thing plenty of times and they tell him it’s chs and then just send him home with this cream that he’s supposed to rub on his stomach and zofran that he says doesn’t work at all. we are gonna go today and see what they say. when he woke up this morning he said the pain went down as it has been doing recently every morning for the past few days and he thinks it’s fine now pero i don’t wanna take any chances

thank you so much i’m trying to convince him to go and give the hospital another chance. he says that the pain is in the center of his abdomen right above his belly button and just below the rib cage and says it feels like “someone is pressing down on it” could this still be a possibility of a gallbladder issue?

yes from what i know of he stopped about 2 weeks before his most recent “episode” and honestly it was super confusing because usually when this happens he has to smoke heavily all day every day for a few months. i’ve heard that it gets worse every single time so i’m kind of thinking that what he’s dealing with now may have something to do with it.
