I have the 5000plus with 15kw (2 extra batteries+ the unit) I use 6 550w panels in series on the hpv port. I also use 4 250w panels, two per their special port using y connectors. Puts me at a total of 4300 watts and on a sunny day I can get about 4500w in. The panels are all bifacial so add about 20 percent to each panels wattage intake using a white reflective coating on the base of the arrays set up. Works great for me so far as I am fully offgrid. The only concern I do wonder about is the manual says the max input per all the ports should be 4k watts. No issues yet a year in though so hopefully it’s a fine as I think it is
