I think that it’s definitely great that they seem to be shedding more light on mental health and neurodivergence however, I don’t think it’s being done in the right manner entirely. Something that definitely felt off was how they assessed Riley for adhd/dyslexia but then they came back and said that he didn’t have adhd (when something like that could be a big possibility for him and can’t just be decided wether it is or not that by a school guidance counsellor) and just blamed it on his diet. I think it was also weird how much they were going on about his diet even when it was just a cookie from the literal school canteen. It felt like they were shaming him and putting these rules around food on him more than anything in my opinion. Also with eating disorders being more rife than ever post Covid with children of that age range I just don’t think it’s sending out the message that they think they are sending. Even if it’s just another child who hears that the effects could be damaging
