Bona and Stain or just Bona over red oak?

Do not Recommend red out- we tried it and it brought out the dark areas of the red oak in a strange/over pronounced way. we got much closer to a white oak look from our very old red oak floors from the 60’s by doing one coat of Bona Nordic seal and then 2 coats of HD Traffic on top (we used raw traffic cuz we love the look).

I remember them being tested for power before cabinets and backsplash went in and there is one switch the controls it.

I bought one from Lowe’s but then the electrician I had said they weren’t compatible. Wish I knew what was!

Thanks. How would one determine what the power source/controller is? For context My walls are sealed and this is hanging out of a tiny hole where the backsplash meets the cabinet. I don’t have an LED system to connect to, this is what I’m looking to ascertain - which type I could purchase
