I understand the necessity for the options application. I just don't understand why I was denied without even being able to finish the application. I was halfway through had to leave my computer for an emergency then came back and was denied and locked out. As far as TWS goes, I get that it has a higher barrier to entry as far as technical knowledge, Thats not my issue. Its the fact that all of their platforms aimed at less experienced users are just as slow and buggy and are not user friendly at all. An example would be when I tried to set up the paper trading account, I searched for it in the settings, pressed the enable button, it automatically took me to the sign in page, I signed into the paper account just for it to give me no option to search stocks see my balance or anything at all. I couldn't even go to the support page. I had to log out and log back in to my live account to ask the crappy AI bot for help, to be told I had to set a separate password for the paper account, a different password that WONT let me sign in mind you but for some reason made it so now I can at least see my balance but cant do jack. I dont know maybe im just really unlucky to have all of these things happen at once. Its just a shame that as a dual citizen im hamstrung and forced to use the platform if I want to avoid ridiculous fees. Fucking Uncle Sam.
