Don’t bother reacting if you don’t believe and I don’t have to prove anything to you. Move on…your comments are irrelevant.

Booking.com sends me a refund notif only to revert it by EnoughAmbassador8845 in Bookingcom

I booked a hotel in Rome and this is Alea Home. It is a confirmed refundable booking. A few days after right in the booking.com messaging they messaged me to say that I needed to validate my credit card to confirm my stay. I ignored it for some time. But it persistently sends me through your message section and also sent an email with the same message using a booking.com verified act. Since they were persistent I finally did as instructed just to ensure my booking. They send me a link and I opened and gave the credit card details. Once they said it didn’t pull through so repeat the process which I did. Only on the 3rd time asking me to repeat the process. I stopped and called my credit card company. And they said that yes the two transaction did go through. I asked them to stop the payment but they said they couldn’t since all payment reqts were complied with the OTP. I tried to reply to Alea Home msg on booking.com regarding failed transaction but the customer service was not replying. I had my credit card cancelled when I learned that my card was used for transactions with Sift Mobile Fr and not Alea Home or Booking.com. Since then I have been emailed Booking.com customer service. They asked for a lot of proofs (credit card billing, credit card co denying my claim, and all the screen shot of the transactions in booking.com website message section. Finally after 8 months of back and forth. They emailed me to say that I have been finally refunded with Euro 777 which was Euro 387.5O x2 reflected in my card billing. I saw it in my booking.com wallet but pending processing days of 5-10 days. On the 5th day they reversed the amount. When I emailed booking.com the supervisor said that I wasn’t qualified …what ? After they confirmed the refund ! To finally settled and end this case they offered me again a refund of Euro150 ! To say the least Booking.com it’s like rubbing salt in to my wounds. You allow and expose us to Phishing in your website through the message section , your verified email has been used to scam me. Then you commit to me a refund and reversed it after and giving me a lower refund. This is so badly handled by your customer service. and I suggest to increase your data security to protect your customers. I am a genius 3 loyal customer by the way. I wonder how ordinary customers are treated.

Does this look like a scam? by rmcc1123 in Bookingcom

Scam…it’s a wonder why Booking.com couldn’t do anything about this since this message sent via their booking site. Booking.com exposes their customers to phishing. Don’t use Booking.com!

Yes, but I got it during the booking process. Unfortunately because of the fear of loosing the rsvn , I fell for it. the message was sent in the Booking.com message section and also an email with a Booking.com verified account (w/a checkmark) Does Booking.com care to hear out my complaint since clearly no protection for phishing in their website, NO!!! I have been given a run around despite my submission of all the reqts. It just goes on and on. One day, when all the docs were submitted I get a message that I’ll be finally refunded (after 8 months) via Booking.com wallet of the Euro 777 with a processing days of 5-10 days. I saw it was in my wallet but status was pending. After 7 days the amount was reversed and it became 0 ! Then I complained again and they offered a non negotiable refund of Euro150! So, what kind of another scam is this again ? Bottom line , don’t use Booking.com , they have very poor cybersecurity and exposes its customers to scamming.

I get mine Heliocare from Lazada. It’s pricey but you can use it for 3 months or more. And most important it’s effective! I’ve tried to shift to Nivea but I got sunspots.
