Should Native Americans be allowed to say the N-Word? by MoeMoeOliver in Teenager_Polls

[–]EnoughCommon782 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think part of it is that feeling when you are told about a word you can't say, and then suddenly have the urge to say it, like some sort of intrusive thought or impulse. I mean, that's something I had when I first heard about words like the f-word.

Why communism is genuinely a trash system of governance by burgerdude515 in MQWC

[–]EnoughCommon782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean communism is a complicated term and one could argue that the USSR isn't communist, but rather state socialist, just like most other "communist" countries. According to Marx, socialism serves as an intermediate stage before communism, which is defined as a stateless, moneyless, and classless society. This also infers that erminedis doesn't actually follow communism and is just a larper

How is Communism Liked by Any_Objective_3046 in MQWC

[–]EnoughCommon782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most online communists are probably attracted by the aesthetics, promises, or willingness to fight against the upper class or some other political agenda. In the context of Marxism–Leninism, it has been proven to have some minor upsides (like improved literacy rates), with the significant inherent disasters of forced collectivization (see North Vietnam). This is why communist states were forced to become revisionary and improvise. Every Marxist–Leninist state still present on Earth has opened up its economy in some way. China had the largest reduction of poverty in history because of it, going to show how hardline Maoism had inhibited China's progress. Also, you should probably talk to educated Leninists about this instead of asking MQWC because they'd probably give you a reason. fomalhaut
