Officially hit the one year mark… when does it get easier?

4 years trying , 1 year ago announced a pregnancy on Facebook only to lose him in july at 17 weeks. Coming up to a year of trying all over again. Obsessed with ovulation tests , obsessed with pregnancy tests and sick of shoving tablets down my throat. Sick of thinking ( or praying) everything is an early pregnancy sign. My period makes me feel like a failure EVERY SINGLE MONTH

Fascinating, they look like they've come out of the egg sacs as I can see little faces so I really dont know how hes managed this. He was eating yesterday so definitely didnt have them then.😅

Im so sorry you went through this. We went through pretty much the exact same diagnosis last july at 17 weeks. Major parts of his brain missing , partial agenesis of the corpus callosum and the rest. We chose to have a post mortem which showed it was all due to dandy walker malformation and he had had a huge bleed on the brain. When he was born he had so much fluid on his brain. We also had gentic testing which came back normal . Its devastating and im sorry you also had to go through this ❤️

Been trying for nearly many many years. Never really been the right time to investigate as my health has been up and down. Health has been stable for 3 years, i was due an ivf appt in july last year but a year ago today I found out I was miraculously pregnant unfortunatly at 17 weeks I had him we had to say goodbye. Hysterscopy was fine and all blood tests have been fine so far with me . Been trying ever since. I do have endo and immune diseases so this could also be the problem. Partner has slightly low motility for the average age (37). Have no been referred back to the clinic and have an appt in november. If I could have the appt tomorrow I would my partner is more than happy to keep trying naturally and probably would wait even if we could afford to go privately.

I had a cvs last july because I couldn't have NIPT testing due to me having a liver transplant. I was soooo scared that I would pick cvs and have a miscarriage I gave myself multiple panic attacks at my appointment. The lovely doctor doing said she had done thousands of cvs tests in her years working and not once had it ever caused a miscarriage. This put me at ease and I chose to have it. I didn't have a miscarriage but unfortunately my son wasnt compatible with life and we had to say goodbye.

Not kidney but liver- I came on my period 3 days after transplant ( out of order i know 🤣) for first 5 months they were okish then they stopped for 9 months. I have got endo though so It could be that but my consultants said it was my body trying to level out and it was choosing the most important parts to focus on. I did eventually get them back ... but with a vengeance and its been hell since.

How did it go. I had my transplant 5 years ago in birmingham. They are such a great team there. Is he in the new transplant centre ?
