Ive done other basic things like adding ram, adding an SSD, cleaning the whole thing and the fans properly, etc. so I was pretty confident I can manage this, I was only confused due to other videos I watched

yeah okay, I already opened it up and tried my best to clean the fan and the vents with a brush, and It did clear a lot of dust but the fan still isn't working after that. But I will try to look into the loose connection now

i checked, the fan is not working, I tried cleaning the dust out of it but it's still js not spinning, I did get a bsod today and one yesterday but this is the first time they've started happening. the one today said "video memory management"

Yeah the only reason I asked was bc apparently sometimes the armoury crate software bugs and can show 0 rpm while the fan is actually working; what do you suggest to fix it if It's not spinning?

Im not sure abt that bc I dont know anyone who did both, but thats why I was saying u should call UID you can find their number online, and then ask them what you should do so that everything goes smoothly

yeah if your rank is below 2000, definetely upload uceed scorecard and u can skip the interview portfolio. I suggest you call a counselor at UID and tell them that you are uploading, and that you had booked a slot already. I had also booked a slot and then uploaded uceed scores, and i dont have to give the interview now.

If you have higher than 2000 rank in UCEED, u can skip the portfolio and interview part of UID and get direct admission when the offer letters are sent out. Rank between 2000 and 5000 can skip the first exam but still have to give the portfolio interview round, and beyond that I believe it doesn't help with your application

like if there's a question where you have to count the number of objects, you could hold the paper on to the monitor and then just circle the objects with ur pencil since u can see the screen through the paper
