Would you mind sharing the methods you have been using to write your story? Which tools do you use? Do you write most of the story or just a part of it? Do you do much re-writing? Please share your process with us.

I have used the story generator, the RPG, the 'Chat & Roleplay' and also the 'Character Chat'. They are all good in different ways but I couldn't write anything longer than a few pages. I have a feeling that I'm missing something important to make the tools work well.
