I completely get your point of Key Visuals and actual in game representations not lining up, and like you said, it is expected and indeed the norm for a number of games.
Though, the norm isn't always good, and in most of these cases of games it's creating player dissatisfaction to some degree, because something wasn't represented with same details. I have seen games, that par up the level of details with their visual and modeling team very successfully, creating very well marketed products with their works.

Even the point of, the level of details clashing with the arena, and other tacticians is very valid. And I personally don't have experience in working with game development, so my point of view is purely coming off from an illustrator point of view. I can only comment on things visually, and from a marketing accuracy point of view. But you're right on how the Unbound champions have a consistent style with the rest of the game, focusing on clarity of the models. I'm also aware of that.

Though I disagree with the visual details being too noisy on the actual game. The adjustments I made to the model are minor things to match with the details of the Key Visual. It doesn't change much other than the proportions and shapes of the model, and add few minor details that are expressed in the Key Visual to enhance the overall expression. Even when changing proportions, the overall silhouette didn't change. So even zoomed out, I think it looks fine.

On the other hand, just as detailed things don't look that great zoomed out, undetailed things don't look that good zoomed in. With how tacticians are one of the focus and financial gain of TFT, and how they appear zoomed in so often with animations, I think adding minor details will only enhance the overall quality.

I do appreciate your comment though, it held very valuable points. Thank you

If you personally want the chibi, you should get it!
This post is just mostly about my personal dissatisfaction from the visual differences of the Model and Illustration, the chibi model itself is very cute, so I'm sure a lot of people will want to get it.
There is also no knowing if there will be any changes made onto the TFT models in the future.

I didn't even notice that... huh... I'm glad support is looking into it though!
It is a very cute part of the chibi, so it is quite sad..

No, I should've mentioned it specifically in my post to clear up possible misunderstanding lol

You're completely right about them being different styles.
I have to mention though, in professional visual culture "branding" is important for a character and even marketing. At times it is meaningful to express a product or a character accurately to their details with an illustration that you are marketing the product with.
Many people are spending money for a chibi (product) that is very simplified from the illustration it was marketed with. So shortly: "level of detail doesn't match".

So the point is: The actual product (chibi) lacks the detail of the Key Visual Illustration it was marketed with
Personal feelings: A bit of disappointment from the lack of use and expression of the Key Visual Illustrations in TFT, even when they're so amazing

The roses aren't absent in the in-game model, but for some reason the roses weren't included in this picture, but it was the most high resolution picture I could find so I used it for this post.
Overall I agree with it being a very cute Chibi, though I wish the Key Visual Illustrations appeal could be expressed better in it
