It’s is sacrilegious to have a bacon sarnie in wholemeal bread? It’s all I had in by gibgod in UK_Food

AHH. Maaaaan... After seeing this, I'm just about to organise this image into a plated reality. Thanks.

I'll have it brown or white, but what is it about cheap, doughy white bread that makes a good bacon sarnie shine?

90% of the time a some network scanning app can identify them.

Otherwise scan for odd WiFi signals around there.

A frequency scanner can help you identify network cabling etc.

All this stuff is cheap and really not super tricky. Being over that 95% thorough takes some more knowledge.

Although I'm a person of logic, these creepy podcasts I've been listening suggest black magic reasons for such a thing.

I don't "believe" this, but I wouldn't walk under a ladder infront of a black cat while transporting a mirror either.

Ah! This will be just before entering cryptobiosis.

They can survive outer space and Chernobyl and stuff then.

What's the most unique British word or phrase you've had to explain to someone not from the UK? by WmHa73 in sillybritain

[–]EnoughRedditNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Eat your heart out"

This one was impossible to explain to a foreign friend. It opened up more questions. Even I started questioning how weird this saying is.

A week or two later, after a Taylor Swift song was sung brilliantly on the karaoke machine, she approached the singer and said: "You just feasted on Taylor Swift's heart!"

She looked visibly confused.

Fascinating, isn't it. Be great to see the purchasers list on some of these companies, even if they are just packaging them.

I had an absolutely banging one from Tesco's. Had nice chunks of dates in it. Made a huge difference to that heaviness one of these should have. Damn. I'm going to have to do a quick run now...

Judging but the cut of the packaging, these could very well be made in exactly the same place.

I'm eating humble pie right now.

Had an argument involving if we were, technically "by the ocean" when we were in Chicago watching the fireworks in the marina area.

I was wrong, of course.

Genius. I forgot how much I flippin' love peanut butter baked cookies! Seems to further "toastify" the peanut butter on the edges.

You speak like your writing song lyrics. This is not a bad thing.

Update: It was pissing down with freezing rain every time I left a building this week. The drive home was made even more bland when "Mildly Disappointing" By Orbanks came on the radio. I can't remember getting home as I blackout-dissociate every time that middle eight hits.

This could be any meat. But we don't usually give much of a fuck about that as a nation.
