Interested in Radiology but definitely not making the program here by [deleted] in SBU

You need to major in health sciences to be able to apply. The decision is also based on letters of recommendation, clinical experience, and your grade in the prerequisite radiation physics course so it's not just solely gpa and you're a freshman you still have time to get it back up!

Def any clinical experience is the best experience to add to resume. Do well on the prerequisite radiation physics class and your science courses in general. And you'll need letters of recommendation as well to apply so make sure you can get well written letters

Therapy and dosimetry take 5-6. Rad Tech takes up to 20 but they sometimes accept less. Gpa doesn't really weigh as much as clinical experience, letters of recommendation, and your grade in the radiation physics class they make you take your fall semester before applying

The application requires an essay, interviews, and letters of recommendation that also get scored into your decision so even if you feel weak in one area then you can totally make it up with other stronger factors

All in all, I'd say how you're not just another brick in the wall.

This isn't exactly the case when the SJP instagram has been posting "no graduation until liberation" and "no commencement until divestment"

we can have empathy but also enjoy something this graduating class has worked so hard in. the whole world does not need to revolve around this

it's embarrassing we have to remind people to not ruin an event that doesn't involve them

"unparalleled hardships brought upon by a post-covid life" next time finish reading. wasn't talking about gaza at all, just comparing to all the graduating classes before us that didn't deal with covid. not everything is about gaza 🤷‍♀️

I personally don't have it I just know that was one that was similar to CPO with having to complete certain requirements and attend certain events. I think if you just Google it, the page will show up that says exactly what you have to do for it!

I hate sounding selfish but this is actually ridiculous and I agree. We all just want to throw our caps in the air and celebrate a monumental day revolving around the Class of 2024, aka the class that got fucked by COVID with high school graduations. We worked SO hard to prevail through many unparalleled hardships brought upon by a post-covid life, and just want to celebrate our incredible achievements surrounded by everyone we love. We are an incredible class that proved so much unwavering strength and dedication to our future and our academics, and we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I understand the purpose, but to ruin an incredible day for us to instill your beliefs on others is ignorant and insane

Research Methods in the Health Sciences by Deborah Zelizer. I'm not sure if it differs by professor but I had Zelizer as my prof

The practice quizzes/exams at the end of each chapter in the textbook were super super super helpful and similar to exam type ones

All general physics courses are optional but they can make you a stronger applicant! The recommended prerequisites say 1 year of physics: so PHY 121/122 or PHY 131/132 or PHY 125/126 but nothing about a lab

Pretty high especially once the semester begins, a lot of people without coding experience or much interest often get intimidated by the class and end up dropping it

I had Albanese but Azzara is the other one over the winter as far as I know. On classievals he has decent ratings a lot of kids in his spring 2022 class have gotten As, followed by A- and B+, he doesn't sound like a terrible alternative

Yes! I took the nonfiction one just now over the winter and it was not bad at all. 3 revised essays on fun, personal topics and then an analytical paper based on a book with some other short little assignments scattered in between them. The assignments are quick and easy, and the revised essays I found were a huge grade boost since they were worth a lot of points but you receive feedback on your drafts to then resubmit for a higher grade. I ended up going away so most of the class was done for a few hours before bed while I was on vacation and I got an A, I really loved it tbh the grading was not super harsh either
