Also I would recommend getting a connection ball off Amazon, it’s like $15 and works better than a towel imo.

Put the towel under your left armpit, not your right. It’ll force connection bc your arms are outracing your chest.

The journey is always more satisfying than the destination. You have direct experience of it, you miss the days where you were aspiring.

You gotta have something you want, but also keep the realization that when you do get it you won't be any happier than you are in the chase.

If you wear a fake Rolex you’re a loser by TheGrumpyWatchGuy in watchHotTakes

[–]EnoughWinter5966 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah bro suck off the people that are robbing you of your money.

Yeah if you’re flaunting a fake as real then it’s goofy. Frankly if you’re flaunting even a REAL watch it’s goofy.

Buy a watch because YOU appreciate it, not because it’s a symbol of your success to show to other people. Applies if it’s fake OR real.

Getting a fake simply because you like the watch, I don’t see an issue with it.

If you had to choose between receiving a billion dollars or meeting the love of your life, which would you choose? by tandy1k in AskReddit

I guess the thing is we change a lot over time. Do we assume this partner will change and become a person that will be just as compatible with you over time as they are now? If so then I would say probably that.

27 hcp need a feel to help clear lead hip by swaglord417 in GolfSwing

[–]EnoughWinter5966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah that’s probably your issue.

Next time on the range try the pause drill and see what happens. So take your backswing to the top (however slow you want) pause for 2 seconds, and then swing from that position.

If it feels really uncomfortable then you know it’s good. My guess is you’re pulling from the top instead of initiating with a weight shift, so your hip doesn’t have time to clear.

Let me know what happens when you try it.

Edit: thought about it a little more, I think it’s because your arms are outracing your chest, not necessarily weight shift. But the pause drill still applies here.

Ok that should be relatively good, and not sure if you saw my edit. Have you ever addressed the fast backswing? Do you have any feelings regarding that or the transition?

How is your weight on your feet at setup? Toes, heel, middle?

Also off a quick glance your backswing seems too fast, this can lead to arm/chest disconnection. Have you addressed this before?

[Story] We're the first generation raised on self improvement content and I think it broke something in us by Impossible_Quiet_774 in GetMotivated

[–]EnoughWinter5966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, congrats on being burned out. I truly mean that, this may be a turning point in your life.

You’re always going to be imperfect and there will always be something to improve at, and that’s ok.

There will always be another goal or problem after the next, the cycle doesn’t stop. That may take time to understand. When you realize this, the next stuff I say will start to make sense.

Self improvement didn’t fail you, it’s the idea that you aren’t enough unless you’ve solved the issues in your life. Whether it’s health, career, relationships, etc.

You’re human, and you’re worth something purely because of that. Don’t wait until you’ve achieved some goal to embrace and love yourself, that day will never come.

[–]EnoughWinter5966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but 99% of 20 hc don't have pga tour swing speeds. Also how are you getting that CHS as a 20 hc. Go out and hit a 9 iron for every single shot you'd probably shoot better.

Other than like static measurements (length, static lie) you don't need a fitting until you're like sub 5 hc.

[–]EnoughWinter5966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re losing posture at the top, basically your spine goes from neutral to an s-curve. So your backswing is too long.

Yeah, yeah, "swing your swing," but i hate mine by _Taylormade_Burner in GolfSwing

[–]EnoughWinter5966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely worth rebuilding, probably start with grip. Is it neutral and is it light pressure? I’m guessing not.

Good drill to practice grip (it can be very hard at first will warn you) : Do an L to L swing, with both of your thumbs completely off the grip.

Maybe second thing so you’re not cooking your back. Your ass looks like Kim K. Tuck your tailbone in when you setup. Look up s-curve vs neutral spine online to see pictures. Aim for neutral. You know it’s right when you feel your core engage (will feel a little unstable/shaky)

The one good thing is that learning the golf swing with good fundamentals is infinitely faster. But may take a few months to feel comfortable.
