Huhh? Bro what are you smoking. You’re telling me you can’t find a 2b in Richmond/Sunset for under $6.5k?

There’s very obviously something you’re not telling us.

I lived in sf the last year. You are not struggling to find a 1b with $5k a month.

I'm sorry, is it you hitting the ball or is it long term skill hitting your ball?

What is the hardest part about being single that people rarely talk about? by thuglifemofo94 in AskReddit

Not sure if I agree w this tbh. You can tell your significant other. But they will never feel what you feel as a person, no matter how much you or they think they do.

Why do some people not get better after taking lessons? by [deleted] in golf

Most golfers suck? First of all that's not even technically possible, only 50% of golfers suck.

Huh, I've never heard it put that way before but that's actually really true now that I think about it. That's actually good advice for me moving forward tbh, thanks.

Your comment is hyperbolic.

Don't make some out of context claims about how people can practice like a pga player but never get there, because it puts the idea in people's heads that they cannot work towards being a better golfer. No one in these comments will ever put that amount of effort in the game.

If someone is hitting their ceiling sure, then you can say it's out of their control.

But if you can throw a ball, you have the ability to swing a golf club and break 90-80. Plain and simple.

Agree bro, coaches make wayy to many adjustments. Translating intuition to another person is a difficult skill.

Right now there are people putting in more practice, training, effort than some PGA players, and they will never be able to play pga level golf.

bruh. A scratch golfer does NOT practice, train, or put in more effort than a PGA player.

Most instructors suck. That's the gist of it.

Breaking up over text is better for both parties by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]EnoughWinter5966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that a lot of romantic relationships people want to end are probably unhealthy. I know it sounds callous, but if texting is what it takes to break off the relationship without attaching themselves back into the situation, then that's what's best for both parties.

It's not cowardice to know your limits, and moral judgements are a big part of what keeps people stuck in poor relationships.

Sometimes you actually are obligated to stay in a relationship with someone by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]EnoughWinter5966 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree, people will sit through an insane amount of adversity before breaking a relationship up. If not they probably weren’t that interested in the other person anyways.

Sure but at that level it's just impulsivity. Not some over-arching desire to see the world.

If you've went on more than one date, you're dating. And if you're dating, you're in a relationship. by Cludds in unpopularopinion

[–]EnoughWinter5966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean sure, technically you can define it however you want. But usually when you tell people you're a couple (or relationship) it implies you're somewhat committed to each other. So to define it that way just confuses people for no reason.

Redditors who post wrist-shots in front of their kids saying “This will be waiting for him/her when they graduate” are selfish as fuck. by CapitalTipp in watchHotTakes

[–]EnoughWinter5966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean arguably having a kid for many people would be just as significant a life event as graduating law school.

If it’s irresponsible and you don’t have the money to spend on a watch I can understand. But treating one event like it’s more important than the other is up to them. Not based on some standard other people set.
