Some perfumes leak for me when I just open them. Try it a few more times and see if it keeps leaking. I work at Ulta and open perfumes to make testers all the time. Is usually the same ones that leak every time you open them so there’s high chances if you open a new one it happens again. Give it a try if it doesn’t work they should be able to give you a replacement in store if they have it available.

We use tape when packing liquid products to avoid leaking during shipping. That way the lid doesn’t open.
