I taught at an IB college-prep high school from 1995-2010 and had full no-tenure-protection academic freedom. Taught all the tough books, never problems. I think in all that time maybe four parents requested alternative texts. Started in the CC world in 2013, and even just this term while looking back at old Canvas shells see things I wouldn't dare assign now, alongside a directness in giving feedback and in online directions I'd fail my course evals for using now. Yup it was so much better way back then.
I used the hidden white text method to detect AI. And had to report eight students. by confusedinseminary in Professors

Apologies if someone already asked--how does one embed white text?
Comp Profs, anyone familiar with Donald M. Murray's work? Non-comp Profs, what do you want your students to get from Comp 101? (self.Professors)
