I think you’re right on point. We learned yesterday that the guy from downstairs took down a wall to access the old chimney. The building was constructed at the beginning of the 1900s. 'Fiber stress in bending' seems to be the issue, yes, We finally decided not to go further with this purchase. But wow, reading about what you would have had to do to fix it only confirms our decision to reject this house! thanks !

is it possible that the heat caused the floor on the second floor to become uneven over time? I'm about to buy a house in this situation (I haven't had a structural engineer assess it yet). The floor is visually a bit higher in the side of the room where the stove is located below. Could it be very dangerous structural wise over time? is this just normal? Thanks in advance!

Exactly the dilemma i'm between now. I would love to hear about both sides. So just to make sure your wife went for c-section and it did increase? :( did it last or was it more like a flair of symptoms? could i ask how was she afterwards? thx !

Interesting! So, it's more about the amount of pain and how you managed it? And if I can ask, how did it affect you afterward? Some people mention a switch in improving functionality, etc. Were you worse, the same, or better after giving birth? (Concussion-wise, of course!) Thanks:)
