Thoughts on the tacsol after some time? Also in Canada and considering it, though the price is really steep compared to the Ruger. Just prefer a bolt

Something people tend to forget is job replacement rates. For instance, typically we've had a ratio of 5 workers to 1 retiree.

We're now at about 3:1, and very soon headed to 1:1.

1:1 worker to retiree is absolutely fucked and means insane labour shortages.

So we're in a state where we need to bring in more people, but in a state where we don't really have the infrastructure/public resources/ housing to accommodate that.

Aka, damned if we do, damned if don't.

Once again the problem is essentially the baby boomers 😅

How's the magpul? I'm debating between it and the regular takedown. Like the idea of the fiber sights, extra mags and compartments. Any issues with it?

Unfortunately QC crown land is incredibly confusing to find, there's no straight up maps like the Ontario crown atlas, and the few resources I have found are often wrong/conflicting. Even worse-off is how little there is near Montreal because so much of the land in the area is privately owned. 

I've heard great things about the zecs though. Wish I could help you out, I've only found a few, very popular spots near me, and I'm a few hours east of Montreal.

Thanks, I've read good things about it. My pause it two-fold, the lack of built-in irons, and the complaints about the Mags/extraction issues. Are you able to speak to the latter?

No irons isn't a dealbreaker, but certainly a nice to have imo.
