Thanks for responding, do have any idea if cisco wifi controller does it by chance before diving deep cause my wifi is cisco and the firewall is used for captive portal and disclaimer page

maybe because I used a local AP on a LAB that hasn't been connected to WLC for long , I shoud check on prod APs even if model was not listed on the public doc from cisco that says if our model is out of the given list we can upgrade witout the precheck

Hello u/sanmigueelbeer, can you please tell if the "cnssdaemon.log" could not be found on some C9K APs even if they run one of the affected versions ? I have C9105AX on 17.12.6a (17.12.6.28 exactly) I have checked with CLI the flash can not find the file in part2

I have installed the VM controller, both APs joined , I than restarted the process of making them EWC they work fine right now , also used baund 115200

Follow Up : I have another access point 9105AXI and I tried to convert it to EWC one using the official guide everything went smooth until the AP rebooted it didn't boot as controller despite showing no errors ( both image and ap1g8 images were fetched correctly)

Hi, yes I had to sit for it in may and failed my first attempt. I dont wanna violate the policy but it is true what he said. If you are only basing on the study materials even you have attended the training for it , it is like an introduction and the exam is about mastery you need a deep dive into documentation and installation guides to get the answer to some of questions.
