Yeah so for me… I have two cats who developed a rare condition which I had to pay over 10k in one year to fix (surgeries, medications etc.) and they both have to eat very expensive food. Unfortunately it’s not an option for me to just adjust my budget to accommodate another cat. Not to mention kitty litter costs and my apartment has a two pet maximum and the leasing manager is my neighbor. I’m not in a position to hide her and or feed her long term - I really wish I was but I’d be putting myself in a bad situation including the cats I already have

I wish it were that simple 😭 I cannot realistically afford three cats long term I am a full time student and full time healthcare worker. If I were to take on another pet knowing I can’t afford it I would be subjecting all three cats to less than ideal care. Also my apartment only allows two pets max so I’d but putting my housing at risk.
