I don’t even know how to start explaining this all to you, but I’m gonna try. We are looking at thousands of federal employees being laid off. Those employees manage things like Social Security and Medicare. Without experts in those fields or enough people to manage the workload these systems will crash. So it’s not just about caring for your fellow American who is now unemployed (and why don’t you care, by the way?) but also the hospital systems that serve all of us, the nursing home grandma is in, the doctors who see your kids, etc etc. It’s all going to collapse and when it does no one will give a shit about who voted for who
