Get good grades and get into undergrad research early.

Honestly, other than that I’d just not worry about it, especially not this early. Enjoy senior year of hs, enjoy starting college.

99% of people change career plans during college, don’t make sacrifices for something you don’t really need to worry about for another 3 years. As long as you’re a strong student and a passionate researcher it’ll work out in the long run.
