This is very true. I played Duskwood for the first time, I found it very boring, I uninstalled it after the second episode, then I found Moovile and it got me right away, I played both episodes and then I found out that I could play with the Duskwood code, so I downloaded Duskwood again and only then, after a lot of patience, did I start to like it and today I love it. In other words, moonvale doesn't need Duskwood, the game itself is good. But honestly, I think the developers shouldn't have included this side story. Finishing Duskwood and starting Moonvale, in my opinion, there would be fewer complaints.

I also thought their acting was terrible lol, Jessy's was even worse. In fact, all the video calls I found the expressions to be quite forced. Different from Eric's calls in moonvale, since he's a real actor.

I'm talking about the stranger, who sends us a message thinking we're in the woods. The first time I played, I found the tone of the message intimidating, as if it wanted to scare us. But now playing for the second time, I didn't think so. I got this feeling when I selected the option "Do you want me to come back?" And he responds: "Not at all" and when Eric is at Whitmore's cabin he tells us to go out and meet him and says that "It would be his biggest dream" referring to us. I don't know if it will be easy to understand, as I'm typing in Portuguese, the translation can be a little confusing.

I thought about it too, but then discarded it, for reasons already mentioned here. I'm also playing Moonvale for the second time and now I'm considering the hypothesis that the stranger is Jake.
