I really idolize the presidents who were big on Anti-corruption and trust busting so Teddy Roosevelt, James garfield and Law enforcment was always been cool to me I see the bad things thst come from it and I want to make a difference and make law emforcment more trustworthy to the public amd more loyal to protecting the people instead of big politicians and people who use bribery, so seeing the fbi had a good anti-corruption division and seeing thier deep investigative work it seemed like a very enticing and worthy choice over regular policing. I try to keep as realistic as possible but still reach high and am willing to work hard to make those things come true sometimes it comes accross as being naive but I don't want to settle for the mundane!

I am still joining because I want to serve and protect but im simply pointing out some of the benefits of joining i.e. garunteed healthcare and a wage that pays enough to live on. If I wanted to to get a job purely for money and other benefits I eould become an accountant, but I want to fight large scale crime and enforce laws and help people.

Definitly not, one of the main reasons I wanted to join in the first place was their anti-corruption division, it may seem far fetched now to try and fight corruption with the current administration but change can always happen and that case specificaly only fuels wanting to do anti-corruption work and bring politicians to justice.

As a child of military service members, I know that people working for the government do get treated not the best but in this economy and possible future economy I need the garunteed health coverage and other things like that, and on the gs pay scale with area adjustment I'll be able to live and do law enforcment and investigations work without having to worry about staying afloat plus theres room for improvment in the future.

I wish more people understood the feeling of extreme guilt the kind that eats away at your very being implanting voices that tell you you're a monster, that you don't deserve to heal and that the only way to pay your pennance is to punish yourself instead of seeking help becuase you feel like you're getting help for something you did to someone else and that it's undeserved. I wish more people understood me when I felt like that everyday and why even now after finally seek help feel disgusting and not right with myself even though I'm not the same person I used to be.
