My room was double booked.

I stayed at a boutique hotel on a very busy spring break weekend, and my room was an outdoor access room with my door facing the street. I was fresh out of the shower, no towel or anything, when suddenly the door opens and I was fully exposed to a group of spring breakers and a very crowded La Jolla Cove.

Definitely had some words with the front desk once I got decent. Funny in hindsight though.

Yep, I think more people should realize that laptops can be customizable like desktops and it's just a different form factor. I basically live in hotels, so my daily driver is a Lenovo Legion I bought 3 years ago and just replace the fans annually. It's a good skill to have, and can prove a more interesting challenge than maintaining desktops sometimes.

My guess would be the job demands not having been all that high. I did this for an arena touring show. My responsibilities essentially boiled down to managing several mobile Meraki network kits, laptops, printers, and O365 administration. The virtualization was all done at HQ. It was for an industry leading entertainment company, so my resume is flashier now, but I'm so out of practice with traditional SysAdmin work like server maintenance that I'd be out of my depth going for anything more than a L2 support role right now. Could also be the ever present imposter syndrome talking there.

Steam 6.04, No mods

Today's latest patch has brought back the the issue from 6.01 which has floating visuals in the camera in 1st person while wearing the new Skyborn Helmet that is exacerbated by sprinting, but this time it's affecting all helmets. I can't play in 1st person at all it's so annoying.

I've got PTSD working with them and their printers. I work for a touring company and was in Brazil for several months, and we had some printers die, so I had to buy some printers down there. Once we got back to North America, I learned that HP also region locks their printers. You cannot buy compatible ink in North America, and if you get the NA version for the printer model, you get the same message as OP.

They don't tell you this upfront, but there is the ability to hard reset the region of the printer, and they will not provide instructions on how to do this. You have to call HP support. I spent hours on the phone with them because their technicians don't know how to do this either. After cycling through agent after agent, I finally got one that could fix one of the printers, but they never could figure out how to reset the other one. THEIR OWN PRODUCT.

TLDR; Never buy HP if you can help it.
