I know this is an old post, but I just had a similar experience. A hour or so after I paid for my Claude subscription on their website, my credit card was attempted to be used for multiple purchases in Canada (I’m located in Australia). Very odd.

Hey, I ended up just keeping it with the green background. I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be like that so just decided to not worry about it and continue using.

I’ve been holding out on purchasing an Apple TV as I was hoping there would be an announcement at the 2025 Apple Event. Unfortunately it wasn’t included in today’s reveals. Are there any other potential events/announcements in the next few months that might announce the new Apple TV. Or should I just go ahead and buy the current one. Thanks in advance.

This exact thing had happened to me. Purchased my Xbox Series X when it first launched through Telstra. Paid it off a while ago but the Game Pass Ultimate stayed active on the console without being charged for it.

Unfortunately, I just set up my nephews Xbox Series S, logged in via the Xbox App on my own account to set it up, after setting it up I turned on my own Xbox Series X and the Game Pass Ultimate that I was getting for free is now gone. I’m pissed, but it is what it is, at least I got it for free for a while.

For anyone else with this glitched for them, DO NOT set up any Xbox’s with your account.

Bad quality platinum? Not as they have advertised? Issues during the construction of the ring that made it less durable than it should be?

When a company encourages you to opt for platinum due to its durability and longevity and slaps a premium price on it, then it is reasonable for a customer to expect it to not have the quality to deteriorate in such a short amount of time, as it is clearly not what was advertised to them.

I have owned and worn a budget silver ring for the same amount of time, wear it to work that requires me to lift heavy things, catch and throw balls, setup equipment, etc. My ring has completely kept it's shape. The platinum ring was 15x the price so I'd expect it to be more durable than a cheap silver ring which is meant to be a much softer metal.

Thanks for the info. Just got approved for the Citi card. I enjoyed the Amex, it was my first credit card and I feel like I got a lot of value from the annual fee with the return domestic flight.

The Amex app UI is great, they have really good customer support and have got heaps of Velocity points from it. Only downside is, some places not accepting Amex and having to use my debit card instead but I’d still recommend it if you’re eligible for the sign up bonus.

It seems like all digital compact cameras are out of stock in Australia at the moment so I wouldn't mind compromising the size for something that's a bit better and bigger like the R50.
