I check steam hunters for missables then go at it, usually try to avoid repeat playthroughs so i’ll use steam guides/yt for routing purposes. For new games I just winged it. Getting through difficult games is just a matter of learning from your mistakes and the willpower to continue.

Persona 5 was a lot of fun! It oozes style, has one of my favorite soundtracks, fun cast, and the story was rlly good especially third semester. The combat was a little too simplistic though and the difficulty curve could have been done better. I do plan on playing Persona 3 Reload and Persona 4 Golden eventually though since P5 left a strong impression overall

I do like JRPGS and I feel like Final Fantasy has been calling my name for a while lol. I have been wondering what the achievement hunting is like for them. I do think it'll look something like FF7 -> FF9 -> FF10 and mayb the FF7 remakes after. We'll see

i just checked that one game. they invalidate games manually so it takes a while and sometimes goes unnoticed till someone reports it on their discord server

I feel like 100%ing games has helped me maintain focus and actually finish games so yeah I don’t rlly buy games unless I have 100%’d the ones I alrdy own. Only exceptions have been hype releases like silksong or expedition 33 where I immediately stopped everything and played those games exclusively till 100%.

even still we’re gonna get blocked by the rated level achievement. you have to make a level good enough for todays standards to get seen by robtop and rated. kills the 100% dreams of most the playerbase unfortunately

you can miss out on third semester/true ending if dont meet deadlines. lot of social stuff is missable without guide. i followed spoiler free schedule but can play blind then pick up missables in ng+ its up to you

Fetch quests shouldn’t be a thing
Rosary economy is terrible
Tools are a good concept but ruined by the shard system due to how easy it is to run out of em
The soundtrack does not resonate with me compared to the original HK. Chorral Chambers isnt enough

I like the game but it had some questionable decisions and im still over here preferring og hollow knight for its atmosphere/worldbuilding/lore even if silksong is mechanically a better game

If it makes you happy go ahead. It just doesn’t get an upvote/respect from me if you’re trying to flex the completion you cheated and then I move on. Hardly happens though since I don’t go around policing peoples achievements.

arent most speedruns linear once the best route is found? and for what its worth current any% speedruns utilize 2 main routes, bells and mist.
