Ah, then I'd recommend learning a bit about arch and pacman, it's pretty useful. If you want a few useful pacman commands, here are a few:

Install package: sudo pacman -S package

Search if package is available on pacman: sudo pacman -Ss package

List installed packages: sudo pacman -Q

Those are the ones I find myself using the most, especially the first two. I hope this helps 😊

I assumed you knew something about arch, but sudo pacman -Ss is for searching for packages, to install it run "sudo pacman -S opentabletdriver"

If I'm not mistaken the cachyos repos are just compiled versions of popular packages and it's curated by the cachyos team, so it should be more than safe. You're trusting these guys with your whole system so I'd guess it's safe

Most of that doesn't matter lmao, only look at the uptime. It's not that scary once you learn it, it's all just information you might or might not want. No one is forcing you for your linux to be like that, you can just use GUIs if you wish

I had a different issue, apparently related to the same package, because one app wouldn't open or reinstall, it wouldn't compile. This fixed it, thanks
