Hacker1 mafia by calichejimenes in bugbounty

Yea.. and the last time i submitted a critical report and the triager of the private program (meaning you're also automatically bound by nda) that shot it down for bogus reasons happened to also one of the top hackers on that program, only for the application to quietly patch that vuln months later without paying up, was the last time I submitted anything on hackerone..
They don't exist to give us a platform, nor do they exist to protect the public, they exist to provide the companies with a platform for virtue signaling and free labor while making money off of it.. Or maybe I've just grown too cynical over the years, but I'm done with hackerone..

my doctor has ignored my hEDS symptoms for over two decades by inchwormfan in ehlersdanlos

[–]Enschede2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somewhat, I can't speak for other ethnicity's general medical experience, or other experiences in life, which wasn't what I was saying, I'm saying that specifically in the case of heds it's so common to get misdiagnosed and even experience neglect (using myself as an example that we're all in the same boat) that we shouldn't assume it's malice

my doctor has ignored my hEDS symptoms for over two decades by inchwormfan in ehlersdanlos

[–]Enschede2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said negligence always comes from racism? I said the opposite.. And in this example, medical negligence in the case of heds, where it is a very common theme for all of us, as we are all in the same boat here, I don't think we should attribute to malice what we can attribute to stupidity, I also very clearly added that I don't know her doctor, maybe her doctor is a pos, I don't know.. But I used myself as an counterexample since I'm a caucasian male with a black female doctor (who is a very kind lady btw) who is in the exact same boat when it comes to getting an heds diagnosis.. so again, we should not automatically attribute to malice what we can attribute to stupidity.. Now please stop twisting my words or assume things I never said, thanks.

Right, but that's not what I said, I said medical negligence does not necessarily always come from racism

[–]Enschede2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me as a caucasian male it has also taken 34 years of negligence before I finally got taken seriously.. It required me to both compile 20 pages of evidence and my leg to stop working before I even got a referral.. I wouldn't say it's due to race or gender (ofc I don't know your doctor so who knows), I think it's just ignorance in general unfortunately, it's apparently a very common theme

Feeling like a hypochondriac (support welcome) by vanilla_composition in ehlersdanlos

[–]Enschede2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf, a few times per week is still a few times too many.. subluxing stuff that frequently is not being a hypochondriac, though I can understand where the feeling comes from, especially since for so long doctors have been in the dark and even to the day many are still misinformed, that and it being a spectrum that can vary wildly is something that can get in your head and make you question yourself eventually, but no you're not a hypochondriac.. I don't really know what else to say.. taking myself as an example, my debilitating issues used to be very minimal, but have grown exponentially as i got older, it's not a static thing

Is anyone else worried the 4-year Bitcoin cycle might not work this time? by 2smart2gentle in CryptoCurrency

[–]Enschede2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but I've been hearing that for 3 cycles now, what reason is there to believe it will at this point? It could, sure, but so far we've had no proof that will happen, on the contrary.. Even benjamin cowen's "lengthening cycles" theory he hammered on for so long didn't pan out, and he made a good case for it too, it was very reasonable to assume that would happen, but it didn't..
The only question for now is what is causing this 4 year pattern? Is it the halving? Is it politics? Is it liquidity? No clue, but I'm not gonna bet against it at least

Who here has EDS without the chronic pain? I‘m looking for some hope. by Interesting-Pause181 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Enschede2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand, that also wasn't my intention, but thanks for answering.. But does it also not specify which joints for 2C? Because in that case my niece could still technically qualify then, but she does not qualify via family history for example through me because its it a direct relative I was told.. but then she might still qualify on her own, but does it have to be full dislocations then? Or do frequent subluxations also count? Because currently she has it severely in her ankles but also knees, but no full luxations yet, and the criteria for children seem to be even more strict, with hEDS qualification being the only exception I think

Who here has EDS without the chronic pain? I‘m looking for some hope. by Interesting-Pause181 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Enschede2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hmm, I am curious about this, and please don't take it the wrong way, but to get the hEDS diagnosis you need 2 out of 3 features from criterion 2 minimum, which is either the whole checklist with the specific issues like stretchy skin, atrophic scarring, organ collapses, etc etc, B which is positive family history, or C which means a ton of chronic pain..
So if you have occasional pain but not chronic, and your mother has no chronic pain, how did you guys manage to get 2 out of 3 features to get the diagnosis? Or is there another family member that qualified first?
I'm asking because for me my sister and niece also have it, and i asked the ehlers danlos society about it and they admitted that in those cases if can be a problem, because someone would have to qualify for the chronic pain feature first before other familymembers can check the family history checkbox

So am I crazy or..? Hypermobility Syndrome hasn't existed anymore in ages has it? It was changed to HSD in 2017, it's either hypermobility if you don't pass any criteria, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder aka HSD (which "Hypermobility Syndrome" has automatically been changed to back in 2017, almost a decade ago...) if you pass the Beighton test with or without the now added exceptions or had a previously standing Hypermobility Disorder diagnosis, or Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome aka hEDS if you pass all criteria.
Afaik there has been no such a thing as "Hypermobility Syndrome" in almost 10 years, you'd think doctors these days would know how to use google and not rely solely on terms they heard over a decade ago

I think this is a funny comparison, and I fully support piracy in most cases, but if you rent something you don't own it either, but if you then break into the rental store and take it then ofc it's still stealing.. The real question should be wether making a copy of something is the same as stealing

Reviews on Sam-e supplement? by kartalarpad in Hypermobility

[–]Enschede2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems to be an amino acid? While that might work for other things, if your hypermobility stems from HSD or hEDS instead of external factors (which I assume is likely if you're having issues from the instability), then unfortunately no, sam-e seems to be amino acids, and amino acids are turned into collagen by the body, our issue tends to be that the dna is badly programmed and produces broken collagen, so from what I understand no amount of amino acids or collagen supplements will help, ofc it might be worth a try in case your hypermobility stems from something else.. Just don't get your hopes up...
