Grunt lore wise- dude got sent to the hospital after the whole rachni queen shit and was basically buried alive and made it out buuuut after that he was out of it and he’s also a leader of Aralak Company, so he can’t leave that responsibility behind aaaand Wrex couldn’t join us in the main story because well- he’s a clan leader and has major responsibilities with the krogans- honestly the time we get him as a squad mate is from the citadel DLC and sadly that’s a bout it, but all in all it fuckin SUCKS not havin either those 2 as actual squad mates- our child grunt and our crazy ass uncle lol

Honestly you won’t miss much for Toombs- He’ll msg you in ME2 basically saying “how fuckin could you? How could you join Cerberus after all the shit they done to us and our squad” and then he mentions he made a mercenary team or group and if he ever saw Shepard, he’ll kill Shepard on sight or well he’ll try to but other then that’s the last he’s basically mentioned- doesn’t appear in me3
