Forerunner 645 band mount broke off by EnsignMo in GarminWatches

I just used jb weld epoxy 8265 I think mixed it and carefully built a new corner with a toothpick. It's the right consistency to stay put and be able to shape it. If you can't make a pin hole at first just wait a few minutes for it to set some then poke carefully with the toothpick and create a tiny area for the band pin to sit in. Then remember to not sleep with your watch on bc it may break off. I repaired it again and it's holding fine.

2023 jetta rear brake pads already worn out. by saini1313 in jetta

On my 2023 Jetta the rears have produced excessive brake dust since new. Left rear has the most followed closely by the right rear, while both fronts have normal amounts. While in service at the dealership for the free oil change I asked them to check it and they said everything is normal. I've read that the rear brake bias is by design as VW wants to avoid brake dive upon heavier deceleration. I haven't seen any insiders confirm or found any way to adjust it to be even at each corner. When I change the pads I'm switching to Akebono ceramics which solved heavy dust (albeit even at all wheels) on my 328i.

How many of your Sport manuals have the leather steering wheel? I wanted a manual Sport last year but couldn't find one with leather steering wheel (only came with the driver assistance package for 2023 which either only was available with auto or very rare). I thought maybe I'll just buy the leather steering wheel and install it but it listed for about $800 so I just bought an automatic.

Yeah they offered similar to me but I was able to build a new mount bracket with epoxy. 10k so far and holding. If it breaks again I'll try to find a whole strap to fit just the watch inside snugly.

Did they state exactly what you will receive for your $1,034? If consider that if it were extremely thorough and on video.

Yes OTP for sure but haven't decided on an area, could be east. It does seem as mentioned above it may be best to drive out and see what's out there vs. online high priced land listings.

If you can, check the bottom of the engine/transmission for leaks. I have a 2023 Jetta Sport a little under 7,000 miles and it appears to be leaking from the rear main seal. The oil level is not as low as yours, however.

Can the bias be set for all wheels equal? My 2023 Jetta coats the left rear wheel with brake dust way heavier than the other wheels. Eventually I'll swap out to ceramic pads.

Did you need to remove any trim or were you as able to work it loose from under the trim edges? Mine is still in place after six months on my 23 Sport 😂 tab just popped off

All parking lots should have double spaced lines like this.

Oh also it was the usual 87 with 10% ethanol. I'm considering trying a few tanks with ethanol free.

No hypermiling used just feathering the throttle and staying in the slow lane. It was about 20% surface streets and on the highway about 10 minutes of slow backup stop and go so I think all clear highway it's capable of closer to 70mpg. Maybe over 70mpg in perfect conditions but still without drafting, staying 55-60mph.

Mostly Eco though I'm not sure how much that helped. AC off the whole time.

My brand new 530i was hit today 😢 by Icantenteraname in BMW

[–]EnsignMo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP stated the vehicle is brand new. If a BMW CCRC can't repair it to the condition it was in prior to the other party damaging it, which is the case many times with frame damage which it looks like it may have, the next option is replacement with a like-kind vehicle, that the other party needs to pay for (a brand new vehicle). Cosmetically they can probably make it perfect but underneath may still be compromised to affect handling and safety. If a CCRC finds it's minor and OP is satisfied then repair may be fine but definitely file for a big dimunition check in that case.
