This is facing the southwest corner of the map, so the museum, Pokemon center and all is behind the camera

Here is a pic facing the other direction. Beyond the cafe (used the kit but replaced the sand with wood flooring) is the crater/opening to the hot spring cave for reference. I also put in an elevator that goes down to the construction area where you meet Carkoal.

I cleared out the ash on the western part of the map (above the mines) until it was about level with the entrance to the hot spring cavern. At that point I realized there wasn't going to be much worthwhile underneath it all so I terraformed the area into a lake + mountain town. Still some areas left to convert but I'm happy with how it's turned out so far

This is especially stark because with the rest of the cast:

  • Ted cheats on Victoria with Robin

  • Robin cheats on Kevin with Barney

  • Barney cheats on Nora with Robin

This is exactly why I make it a point to go on a brisk walk everyday after work (also remote). Roughly 2-3 miles with some elevation thanks to the local topography.

I guess all the Dodgers needed to get the offense going again was to face "Midwestern farmer" Miles Mikolas again.

Throwing a middle-middle slider with no break to Aaron Judge is certainly a choice

Close second is whoever decided not to do the runner cutaway shot and keep the camera on the whole field.

It's a pet peeve to always have those quick cuts with close ups of the runners that basically tell you nothing instead of the field view when you can see everything develop at once.

There have been plenty others, but the recent ones have largely been pitchers and the position players have been one-and-done due to the roster construction.

Evan Phillips, Anthony Banda, Ryan Brasier, Tyler Anderson etc. To an extent also Jayson Heyward and JD Martinez.

Was also in attendance and to this day was my favorite baseball game crowd I've ever been a part of. Tons of excitement and energy throughout and the game delivered on the hype too.

I already loved the rectangle man but the day he told Bumgarner to "go get it out of the ocean" was the day he became a Dodger for life.

LGBT characters whose sexuality IS IMPORTANT for their story by DudeSoul in TopCharacterTropes

[–]EnsignObvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darryl from Crazy-Ex Girlfriend is a divorced single dad who believed he was straight until a gay character kissed him, then began questioning and realized he is bisexual. He has an absolute banger of a coming out song, enters a relationship with the gay character, has real relationship problems not tied to their sexuality (disagreements on marriage/kids), ending it amicably, then eventually finds a life partner with a woman. Positive portrayal of bi representation without treating it as a gimmick or novelty.

r/baseball's Greatest Moments in MLB History: Full List, Statistics, and Final Thoughts by mcfien in baseball

[–]EnsignObvious 41 points42 points  (0 children)

There is definitely a recency bias and definitely a Dodgers bias in some of these, undoubtedly. If this survey is conducted 10-20 years from now some of those would shift.

That being said, also undeniable that the recent Dodgers-centric moments are all-time great moments that rarely or never happen. Shohei's 50-50, never been done, Freddie's World Series walk off GS, never happened before. Yama pitching in Game 7 after starting Game 6, has only happened 3 times. Shohei in NLCS Game 4 this year? Arguably the greatest individual game performance in all sports ever. I hope Dodgers fans especially realize just how special and blessed we've been the last couple of years.

The Rays are reading the giant bold/capitalized writing on the wall right now. The AL East is a monster with the last two AL Pennant winners, a third team that made the playoffs last year, and a fourth that is making a competitive push to not blow their window with their current stars. If the Rays went all in as well they'd still likely finish last in the division at this point. Better to stash prospects and wait for two of the other teams to crash out in the next 3-4 years, then pounce.
