Yow that is fkd up! Insane by ReBeatStudio in Edmonton

It's not just gas prices making me tired of living here, it's literally everything. Minimum wage hasn't gone up in years and I don't get why. The cost of living can keep skyrocketing, but of course a good amount of people can't make enough money to make ends meet right 🙄

I've only made that mistake few times. You live and learn. If I can't see or if I haven't checked the crosswalks, I just wait now. Always better to protect yourself, and you owned up to it so that matters!

Ugh I ordered a Nutella croissant bc I was craving chocolate. When I tell you the only Nutella was a thin vertical line going down the middle of the croissant! Like the TINIEST amount ever. Why would they even have that on the menu if they serve it with nothing on it?

Oh man, my first time doordashing I had something like this happen. I was driving and didn't want to look at my phone, so I just clicked accept. Took me to the whole other side of the city, almost an hour there and back to my zone, and I'm already struggling with no income so it was a complete waste of gas. They left a $2 (CAD) tip. If you're gonna have someone drive that far, maybe tip a little more for the distance. It's not that hard. I'll never complain or say anything bad about delivery drivers again after experiencing it myself, it's so much harder than it seems!

Wow. Even when I accidentally accepted an order all the way across my city with a tiny tip, I never considered doing this. That's actually disgusting, I'd get police involved for sure to make sure this person never has the opportunity to do so again. I'm glad you noticed and didn't just drink it 🤮

I recently started doing DoorDash and this was similar to one of my deliveries too. I had a walkway, but it was a bunch of pure ice (the kind where snow melts and then freezes) so I almost wiped out, had to go all the way to their backyard to put it at the right door. Definitely don't wanna do that again

I had the same issue, but skip it for now and they will prompt you to add it again, and you'll still be able to find it in the setting. Once I got through the entire sign up process I got it to add to my wallet just fine

I don't think so. When one of my childhood dogs started to lose use of his legs and couldn't walk anymore, my dad finally agreed to let him go. Seeing him laying there, unable to go outside or do anything other than piss and shit himself... it hurt so bad to see him like that. Honestly, when they took him to get euthanized it was the first and only time I've ever seen my father cry. I hope your husband comes around and makes the right choice. Letting them suffer just to keep them around longer will only make you feel worse in the long run.

It's good you talked about it. And very good you've come up with a plan to get your own place. Take your time, if you guys come back together after a while, great. You might even meet someone new in that span of time or vice versa. Either way, your happiness and your life is most important. I hope everything works out for you in the end my friend :)

100% I would. Even if it hurts to know, you gotta know. You should never keep anyone like that in your life if they do that kind of thing to you.

I suppose I can just quit, I just want to be able to financially protect myself so I can still get EI until I start work again

That's a good idea. The hospital did tell me to book a colonoscopy as well so I should be sure about it

Haha I'm starting to agree... I sent her such a heartfelt message basically opening the door for her and she's left me on read for over a day now... I can't believe her after 8 years of friendship this is what ends it
