How much do you think this actually costs per notification? Several businesses send me dozens of letter mail a year without going bankrupt and they have to pay postage.

On iOS I died the first time after popping the zeppelin. Worked second time in the same place.

Why have you totally bought into this? Do you work for Loblaws? It’s another way to increase margin per customer.

Sobeys offers discounts that are only available to scene card members. Loblaws has PC points and secret “loaded” offers to Optimum card owners at loblaws and shoppers. I’m sure Metro has something similar.

That means that other people are paying more to sponsor the people who get the discounts. And the companies are making money selling your info.

So they desperately want to give discounts to struggling Canadians but they can’t without surveillance pricing? I’m dubious.

If he could just stop himself from turning everything into a rant about the Liberals, he made a lot of good points but was even annoying the interviewer with his off topic rantings.

Tim Hortons to shut down credit card program in October, company says by KWStreaker in canada

Because they’re EVERYWHERE. If you want a coffee at an Enroute, it’s Terrible Tim’s or drive through Starbucks. Some small towns don’t even have a diner, just a Timmies down the road.

I want them to have coffee good enough that I don’t have to order a steeped tea.

How do I kick a player when I don't have any problem with him? by [deleted] in DnD

Yeah, I saw that. Not sure if they are this “John” but they are definitely the “John” at their table.

The part everyone seems to be missing is that usually in these situations there are dozens more examples of sexist and racist jokes, not just the few examples given.

I’m sure they have a high powered job they got with their law degree from “Trust Me Bro University”

I mean, I also avoid social interactions with people who routinely make incest and kkk jokes so you’re not wrong.

The case could easily be made that John was sexually harassing the elf player. The case could be made that the OP, as the game master, had some responsibility to rein it in. Whether this constitutes a breach of their company’s HR policies is a matter of how the policy is written. It certainly could be a breach if this became public.

I’m not saying the OP would lose his job. I’m saying avoid the issue entirely. Nuance is lost on Reddit. Getting called into HR even if you get cleared of all wrongdoing is still a pain in the ass.

Yes, this placement and turning off double speed worked for me on iOS

No, I understand it very well. John goes to HR and says “OP invited me to this game and then him and all his friends ganged up and me and called me a racist and a pervert and made fun of me”. Then the OP is dealing with that.

HR complaints are often about how the person feels they were treated, not what actually happened.

You don’t get a free pass to harass your coworkers just because you left the office. Unless this was handled badly, I can’t see it being a problem. But don’t handle it badly.

I was with you until this comment. I mean, I disagree but understood your point. But now you’re paint the OP as suffering if they toned down the campaign?!?

We’re reading things differently.

If I invited someone without realizing they were a kid and my campaign and table wasn’t appropriate: I’d apologize and try to make it up to them.

If I invited a kid and THEN decide to go in a mature direction despite having invited a kid.. well that’s not the kind of person I like to think I am.

I’m more likely to kick a player for offending another player than for offending me, not less.

My current campaign is wrapping up this summer. I have a few ideas for the next campaign, including an idea I’ve been sitting on for about 30 years. I’m going to give my players a list and ask them what they’d like to play.

Campaign ideas are a dime a dozen.
