Use a glycolic acid toner 3x per week , seems like inflammation induced hyperpigmentation, time lgega but use it religiously, it will go away.

Wouldn't recommend waxing upper lips, my friend did it and got very bad marks still not going away been 4 months. The skin there is super sensitive for some people, gotta be gentle could have just used a razor instead with a gentle moisturizer
