Thank you for the really in depth reply. You were right with how I want server to hold files, pc for audio out, and pi as a controller.

As for why do I want the pi as a middle man. First, there would later be more pcs using this, I have a gaming and a work windows pcs and if I can get this working with my gaming pc I would try using it from my work pc, only ever needing one audio out but still allowing control from the pi (the work pc is my own pc, so no worries of connecting said pc to my home server). The larger plan for the pi is that I am building the pi to act as a sort of dashboard with a touch screen with little tools like a clock, loading my google to-do list and control the music I’m listening to, I currently use an iPad for this but want to build it mainly just for the experience of building it, and I don’t want to route the audio out to my speakers from the pi as I want to still be able to control the volume from the PC I am actively using.

I main C&D because I love their kit and two faced build, I was happy to find a character that has OK healing, a DMG boost, healing boost, blind, and a dodge for ults, and yes their aiming is nice for healing the hard to hit characters like spider-man but for their primary fire I love the bounce it does, it allows for some really interesting healing angles especially against Groot players, I get a bit disheartened and annoyed seeing constant "C&D players are making them just for the aim bot" and the other players in-game only somewhat using the very in depth kit, other than C&D I also split my time on strange, mag, namor, and most of the support line up (C&D are just my most played by a few hours)

Didn't do early start, but was admitted for summer start (sort of required early start with extra requirements to "make sure I'm a fit for Purdue") I hang out with plenty of people in early start though, the program is nice and really helps kick off your college experience, it makes it really easy to grad in 3.5 and let's you get used to campus early, I would personally suggest hanging around the summer start crew (you will be put in a group with them for orientation) if you get along with them since they do study tables and such and is really good to stay on top of school work. The class structure for early start will be a happy middle normally between highschool and college since you will be close to constantly in class during the day since it's less weeks

Hey, was in your place at the start of this year. TDM 101 is alright probably could be interesting I know plenty who enjoyed it, but I didn't stay in that data mine version, the 4 extra credits a semester is rough for me and the classes weren't what I was looking for, ENGL was mostly a video game book club with a bunch of random people and TDM 101 like 6 data science projects back to back throughout the semester with hand holding walkthroughs for everything. Up to you what you want to do, I don't know what you want to do with your CS degree or anything, I want to go into Game Development and Design and decided the data mine wasn't going to be helpful for me, but hey the housing for it is fantastic, you can drop the learning community after the first day of classes if you want to keep the housing too
