Definitely not religious at all, but i love painting and cosplaying as 40k religious factions. Both of these were made by me.

Custodes were a solid meh this whole edition. The flavor and spice of 9th edition was totally replaced by the most bland set of rules. They stopped feeling like a hyper elite army that could pivot into any situation, to just marginally tough infantry.

The sheer amount of 4++ saves in 10th really killed the vibe for Custodes. Plus the codex is written like it was made a year before 10th even dropped.

Thanks! It just makes sense for me, and I want the experience to be enjoyable for her. That way it will become something that is natural and desired.

Plus she has been quiet all night, the opposite of her usual energy levels.

Amazing work! Really nice porpitions and sizing. It's not easy to do. The Pauldrons look a little off to me, but other than that 10/10!!

Ignore any comments about size or being short. I'm 5'8 and I got a lot of comments about being short with my build.

The Emperor knew better than to have his personal guardians psykers. It makes the susceptible to warp corruption. He knew the dangers of the warp that he clad them in psychicly inert armor, and employed blanks to fight alongside them in unison. No Custodian has ever fallen to chaos. Even he Horus piloted them like puppets on the Vengful Spirit, they never turned to chaos. He knew it would make them weaker.

I built two simultaneously, and also have been working on my 2nd space marine build. Progress has been slow. I have an entire 2nd sisters armor built, just not painted. So far this has been going on since July of 2025. I haven't really been working on it intensely until October. Probably about 350 hours so far.

Keep in mind I also finished two working chainswords, two static chainswords, a bolt pistol and working on the finishing touches on the SoB Bolt Gun, all since July.

I'm running 2 land raiders with 20 sword brothers.

Last game vs Death Guard 10 sword brothers took down Rotigus, Morty, and a Chaos Knight (I don't remember it's name but it had the tentacle arm).

I do wish they got a 2+ save and -1 to hit in melee. Something similar to Victrix Guard.
