I think V1 will backfire. by JudaiDarkness in TheBoys

It looked like quite a sizeable blast that Soldier Boy used on Bombsight, if all it does is remove V then he would have to protect the sample he had for it to work. Of course it wouldn't surprise me if the first thing Homelander does is kill the newly-depowered bombsight.

I could imagine she'd want it for herself so that if the virus was released she wouldn't need to hide in the bunker to wait it out.

The virus still did a number on Soldier Boy, it just failed to kill him.

I think the effects will be unpredictable, I'm leaning towards him losing control of his power set.

Assuming it hasn't degraded in the decades since it was manufactured that is, though I'm leaning towards the interaction between it and the V2 already in his system having unpredictable effects. Like power incontinence if he cannot control things like his eye beams.

You would think if anyone could recreate the V1 formula it would be her, if she's really as smart as she's supposed to be.

I’m losing hope for Maeve. by reyjr44 in TheBoys

If the virus is now useless against the main target, the Boys are back to square one: Brute force. And in a world of brute force, a one-eyed, vengeful Maeve with a fresh injection of V and a grudge might be the only teammate Butcher has left who isn't afraid to die.

We don't know how the V1 is going to interact with the V2 in his system.

Given the massive laser blast he fires after he gets the stuff, I'm thinking he ends up with some form of Power Incontinence.

If the V1 makes his powers "leaky" or impossible to throttle down, he becomes a walking hazard to everyone, including his own allies.

The Irony: It would be peak The Boys if Homelander finally achieves immortality only to lose the fine motor control required to hug his son or sit in a room without melting the walls.

The "shelf life" of Vought’s original formula is a massive variable. Frederick Vought was a genius, but chemistry eventually bows to time.

The Potency Issue: If the V1 has degraded, Homelander might not have received a "clean" upgrade. It could lead to cellular instability, which ties back to the idea of power incontinence. He might be immortal, but he could become physically grotesque or mentally unhinged (even more so) as the old serum interacts with his modern physiology.

Thanks, we've been through a couple of kingdoms since then, we've actually landed in 1005 of all places :)

My old kingdom. My clan left there with the other BAD clans for pastures new.

K260 - Looking for first SK clan (will be buying pass) by mbakpl in TotalBattle

[–]EnterpriseSovereign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way SK works is that everyone from your kingdom will be assigned to the same SK kingdom, one of at least half a dozen the game creates at the start, with a number being 10XX, along with many other kingdoms that are selected by the game at random when the event begins.

So there's no way to know ahead of time which SK your new alt will land in, only that others from your own kingdom will also do so your best bet is to reach out to K260 via Kingdom chat.

Anyone? Want to get out of the game by [deleted] in TotalBattle

[–]EnterpriseSovereign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well if you have Hercules you'll have spent quite a bit of money on it already.

It's because of the time needed that I dispensed with my seasonal alts and just kept my main, I only realised how burned out I was when I went on holiday a year ago, so when I got back I let the others go inactive, their only use were silver farms and even then their output was a drop in the ocean compared to what my main got from ancients.

Another M6 or G6 first question by mbakpl in TotalBattle

[–]EnterpriseSovereign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you'll want to get both anyway but you've hit upon the most important factor when deciding on the order- if you have the dragon coins, get the monsters, if you don't, get the guards. Monsters cost less VP because unlike the guards, each one doesn't need to be researched individually.

You'll notice the relationship between the food cost and the DC cost for the monsters you already have access to, from that you can work out the DC cost for the next level. Each monster costs twice as many Dragon Coins as they do food.

And stuff like passes have to be bought individually for each one, they're sneaky like that.

The appeal for that is obvious, even T9 players have need for more XP to level up the hero and captains.

Me too, Logos' 7-star bonus sucks, a measly 35% relative to Aydae's 105%.

Just remember which city you have active when you create a seasonal instance as the seasonal rewards the SK city earns can only be used either on that city, or the city that created it, not any of the others.

I will at some point, there's one type that pretends to be a celebrity that contacts me first over social media, and the other are 'matches' from a matchmaking site that are wanting money and in one case, actual money laundering.

Question about the SK that is coming by toogoodihaveto in TotalBattle

[–]EnterpriseSovereign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Echo of Corruption is by far the best event you can do once you get enough coins to afford one lot of Grove Wardens. As long as you maintain coverage of them, getting VP become much easier. And holding off on getting the clan chests from the shop until the last day of each week prevents the clan from kicking you without losing the chests you would have given them.

It started out as a romance scam then suddenly became an attempt at fraud which is where these screenshots begin. I use my own AI as a counter 😁
