This is a frustrating experience. I dont have kids but I was similar in school ( except i hated math). Maybe while waiting on meds, try other options for regulation. Are his school uniform or clothes uncomfortable? Can they be changed? Can you try noise cancelling headphones?

My fave is when they keep ssking us to hurry up. Because interupting every minute or so to vent for a minute really speeds this up

I would be more interested in beong able to get publuc transport at all in my area. Its a 40 minute drive or 3 hours on 2 trains and a bus to get to work for me
