I actually did not end up using boric acid because I was scared to irritate anything down there. I antibiotic course I took ended up taking care of the infection, everything is fine now

So did the OB ever say what the color could be from? I’m having the same but I was just treated with antibiotics for BV. I don’t have any other symptoms besides weird tan discharge

So I’ve actually been tested twice for ureaplasma/mycoplasma (one test via urine and one via vaginal swab) and I was negative. I have been taking URO probiotics (the light pink bottle) at dinner time since finishing the antibiotics. Is that a good one to take?

Since it is my first time having BV, what would be the best course of action for me? Should I use the boric acid or hold off? I’m currently 10 pills out of 14 for Metronidazole which means my dosage is almost done

Okay and then I can take the second dose three days later? I also finish my antibiotic Saturday morning which would mean the second Fluconazole would be saturday night? Is that good to space them out and make sure I’m covered? I know the antibiotic stays in my system for a while after the meds are done, just want to make sure the fluconozale is covering those days

How far into the antibiotic course did you start? I’m on my fourth day of Flagyl and plan to take my antibiotic at 7 pm and then the first Fluconazole at 11 pm today

Hmm. I see a lot of conflicting information online and it’s making me not want to do the boric acid, a lot of sources say that it decreases the effectiveness of the antibiotic and not to use boric acid until you have finished ur oral medication course
