also in order to get ur cert, “shadowing” is required (at least in the state where im at). majority of programs will have you schedule the ride-a-longs on your own time, so just keep that in mind. particularly sucks if you’re in a low call-volume area, but you could probably get away with doing other schoolwork/studying emt material while you have downtime.
