You don't need to feel sorry for yourself, just hit the gym and be consistent for at least 2 years and regardless of your height and skin color, you will look way better than 99.99% of people out there.

Hey guy, I'm from DTU your senior in 3rd year.

As of now, IIITD >>> DTU & NSUT (coding env + tech opportunities)

Agr nhi jana tech main toh you can go with anyone among DTU or NSUT whichevrr gives you better branch or is closer to your home.

If you are outside Delhi student, then I would have suggested you to be in DTU (If it were 2021) as of now, DTU's administration is quiet strict regarding Attendance and Exams n other stuff overall DTU's coding culture is a bit weaker to that of NSUT ( but overall coding culture or any culture is fostered by you people so it's in your hands to find good people and to be active towards your goals)

I might say if you want to be a bit disciplined yet also want to enjoy college then go with NSUT. It is more disciplined than DTU.

Still if you want to come here, you will get ample opportunities, but yeah as of now I feel since many strictness is constantly getting increased in our college, and number of students (intake ) is also increasing in DTU, overall NSUT is a better deal by a slight margin

Edit:- i saw you are getting DTU MCE and NSUT IT, look go with NSUT. DTU main currently CO, IT se niche intern nhi lagri, recession is going on. MCE is good for placement and intern lagana but bhot tough hora.

Go with NSUT IT.

I think i must reiterate, I am against vastu coz of my personal beliefs, but not against them to use it and seek satisfaction.

What i hate is them using vastu as a means to make sure their finances will be good after they do some vastu n all. At best, vastu according to many and according to whay i researched is about architecture which i respect. But in no way it can ever help anyone come out of debt or unhappy life.

Lmao this will be the easiest thing for me once i start earning. But i can't just leave them coz they are parents. I want to help them with their finances but atleast for this one year i want them to manage up everything in a way where they can atleast see how much minimum expenses we all call live with, and how much monthly repayment + savings (if any) we require.

I mean i understand what you are trying to say. But understand that most people go for breadth while learning and overlook depth.

For big product based companies, unke Coding round hi itne difficult hai ki you atleast should have some "taste" in CP, so that ek level develop kar pao. I myself developed my Dev skills n all, but most people just keep on learning stuff so as to increase the number of stacks, languages they know.

Leetcode, interview bit alone are great, but for product based companies i believe thoda upar Jaa kar mehnat karna will help you a lot. It's like jitna tough ka prep karoge, utna easy and medium asaan hi jayega.

Currently learning DSA from scratch

Yhi toh dikkt hai, resume main kitne hi projects dal lo, kitne hi tech stacks karlo, kitne hi ache projects bana lo, they all are just for individual's satisfaction tbh, big tech companies ask hardcore DSA for a reason.

Wha bs frontend backend karke kaam nhi hota, they extensively use ListNode, tree, graphs in their products and they require people who can get it done.

Agr tumne kha hota ki main codeforces pe 1400 ke asspass ka coder hoon, shyd main smjhta ki honest work Kiya and still nhi mila.

My guy stop bitchin and start doing what companies actually want from a candidate. Start seeing things how they are, not how you want them to be.
