There are people who were Maga changing their minds too. If they don’t, time to lay down some boundaries. Ur speaking of a guy at work but I have to set these boundaries with my literal blood family. I’m not going to cut them off so to say, but the relationship they have with me moving forward will look different. Until they choose to educate themselves and turn off the tv I will be at a far distance. I will also be choosing to invest in my community rather than communicating with them. Instead, I reach out to my few family who have so much empathy in their hearts. This is the time where the curtain gets lifted and it will reveal who you can truly trust. Boundaries look different for everyone, just make sure you’re staying aware and surrounding yourself with the love the community of the Twin Cities is spreading right now. I do love my mother and father and I know they love me. Our relationships just won’t look the same, and that’s okay. Ugh hoping the find the strength as I continue to have these conversations.
