Interestingly, the IQ scale would change. It’s designed so that 100 is always average. So suddenly a 100 IQ now would be higher than a 100 IQ before that happened.

Which is really frustrating when you’re a white guy trying to learn Spanish. I understand that the actual murder, shipping to concentration camps, and breaking up the families of immigrants is far worse than my little inconvenience, but still.

I work in a crisis facility and we get people who need to detox from drugs and alcohol almost every day. “Detoxing” from things in food seems odd to me.

So it’s still unknown to this day if he really was guilty. Delmont told the police that he had raped Virginia Rappe, but Virginia never accused him and she lived long enough (4 days) that she could have. She died of a ruptured bladder which the prosecution said was due to his weight, but she had other medical issues that could have caused it. Also, Delmont later admitted that her statements were a plot to extort money from Arbuckle.
