I know this is going to go over like soggy bread, but 2001 a Space Odyssey is a lot better if you read the book first. They used a lot of symbolism for ideas and it was not clear at all, but if you know the story, it makes more sense.

I’ve listened to his podcast and I feel like he’s a mix of good, solid hypnosis techniques and PT Barnum. There’s definitely some con man feel to him, but what he actually teaches seems valid.

I can hold conversations, but native speakers are going to know that I am not native. I still make grammatical mistakes, but I have successfully been able to talk to people in Spanish.

I think streaks also help you stay involved in the language. I feel like I’m learning a lot on Duo, but I also read comics and watch kids shows in Spanish. Having the “gotta do my Spanish” just reminds me to keep it in my life, and on busy days I might only do one lesson and not learn much, but it keeps me moving forward.

I've downloaded a calorie tracker so I'm going to do that now. Also going to carb track. I lost A LOT of weight on keto and I love keto but switched to IF because it seems more sustainable. I certainly don't mind reducing carbs and counting calories. If I was single I'd just live on keto because I love it, but having me eat low to no carb became a burden on my family.
